Resenha de Álbuns: Dr. Geek and the Freakshow (Horror Punk - Alemanha)

Trago aqui à vocês, uma resenha de um álbum que eu gostei muito e acho que todos devem ouvir !

O Álbum "GHOUL SHOCK"  da banda Alemã "Dr. Geek and the Freakshow".

Zombiehl - Baixo/Backing Vocal
Frankensteiner - Bateria

Biografia da banda:
Dr.Geek e Zombiehl se conheceram em 2008. Depois de muitas experiências fracassadas, finalmente conseguiram trazer à vida, Frankensteiner, em 2009.
O primeiro EP "Miss Graveyard 1878" foi gravado em dezembro de 2009 em SU2 Studios com ajuda de (Necro-)Phil Hillen. Foi lançado em 27 de março de 2010.
A gravação do segundo trabalho da banda "The Wolfman…and other Stories from the Lab" foi novamente gravado sob a supervisão de (Nekro-)Phil Hillen e foi lançado 19 de fevereiro de 2011.
Em 07 de julho de 2011, o primeiro vídeo da banda "Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde" foi lançado.
Em 16 de agosto de 2012, a banda assinou contrato com "Klabautermann Records", 
e juntos lançaram o novo álbum "Ghoul Shock" - 2013

Então vamos começar...

A Intro é magnifica e macabra, ao mesmo tempo muito interessante !!!
A 2ª música "Run Away" em seus primeiros acordes você já percebe o Horror Punk puro e grande desta banda, vocal excelente, e esse pedal duplo que faz você ouvir a música várias vezes, muito bom !

 A 3ª música, chamada "Jerusha" ouvindo se descobre o poder da banda em riffs e acordes que entram em seu cérebro, vocal mais assustador, eu adorei essa música, viciante !!!

 A 4ª música, chamada "Beetlejuice", bem, o próprio nome já diz de onde vem, se você não conhece, procure pesquisar. Grande refrão, realmente viciante, ótimos "Wooooooowwwwooo" incrível !!!

 5ª Música "Jack in the Box", grande música relaxante, uma pausa em todo este Horror Punk para os mais melódicos riffs e acordes, realmente ficou muito boa.

 "Ghoul Shock" a 6ª canção, titulo do álbum, agora voltam os acordes pesados e rápidos, vocal sempre incrível, e adorei a bateria, rápida e agressiva, grande teclado/órgão ao fundo, realmente combinou muito com a música.

 "Six Feet Down Under" a 7ª música deste álbum incrível, a música tem uma Intro individual,
que logo no começo você sente todo o peso da canção, adoro esses acordes medonhos e assustadores,
o solo viciante, ótimo! realmente até agora o álbum está ótimo !

 8ª música "Angel From Hell", essa eu fiquei espantado, deu até um arrepio na espinha ao ouvir o riff da introdução, essa é uma música para dançar com sua garota e ouvir naqueles dias felizes, até aqui é a música que eu mais gostei!

 "Love After Death" 9ª música do álbum, até agora gostei muito do álbum, a grande energia do punk rock
está presente ao longo do álbum... Essa música tem uma combinação excelente do Vocal com os instrumentos, adorei os riffs e o refrão medonho, incrível !

 10ª música "White To Red" adorei a melodia da música, e o vocal ficou perfeito, não me critiquem por isso (haha), mas ficou incrível e me lembrou as músicas do Bad Religion.

 "Horror Movie Double Feature" 11ª Música do álbum. A música fala sobre filmes de Horror, como anteriormente, o vocal e a música são perfeitamente combinados, tornando a música tão boa, adoro esses riffs e essas partes da música com "palm mute" muito bom.

 "Behind The Wall" 12ª Música, essa o vocal está tão impecável, porra, o refrão é muito bom. ahhh esses riffs... Ótima música, você pode começar a dançar ouvindo isso !!!

 13ª, ultima música "Under An Irish Attic" perfeita, as garotas irão amar esta canção, tão relaxante.
A participação desta Garota deixa a canção tão calma e romântica, muito boa. E ela encerra este álbum
sensacional, espetacular desta banda Alemã, espero que tenham gostado da resenha, e escutem a banda, vocês irão gostar muito
RECOMENDO !!!

DieMonsterDie vem evoluindo a cada álbum, e com esse não poderia ser diferente.
O álbum se inicia com uma introdução digna de um bom filme de horror que logo se estende
A musica "The Forbidden City of Kun-Laa" que mostra a essência clássica do horror punk
com os clássicos back vocais. A musica que também chamou mais a minha atenção foi a 
I Will Always hate you frankenstein, com riffs marcantes e um vocal impecável posso dizer
ser a melhor do álbum em minha opinião. O álbum conta com instrumental bem Rock n roll abusando
dos riffs e melodias. uma clara e intensa influencia do Horror é vista em cada musica do álbum.
Com certeza DieMonsterDie está entre as melhores bandas do gênero " Horror Rock " e a cada trabalho
me surpreendo mais com essa incrível banda, espero ainda ter a chance de ver um show ao vivo.

 O que dizer do novo álbum da banda DieMonsterDie? Se não dizer que: está realmente excelente!
A Intro do álbum mostra um peso grande nas guitarras e na essência da banda
 que agora inova nos arranjos das guitarras e bateria.
  A Primeira música "The Forbidden City of Kun-Laa" mostra o que eles estão fazendo
que é uma música de qualidade e de bom tom! os vocais também não tem do que reclamar,
estão ótimos na sincronia e nas melodias.
 A segunda música "I Will Always Hate You Frankenstein" que pode-se dizer que é a melhor
do álbum, também é ótima, a guitarra tem um bom destaque. Realmente um álbum de puro Rock' N' Roll e Horror Punk de qualidade, bem que poderiam vir ao Brasil fazer uma tour do seu álbum novo.
Eu iria sem dúvidas!  We Are 138!

O álbum é genialmente trabalhado, a banda alcançou uma grande sonoridade nessas 13 músicas.
Ficou incrível, o modo em que as canções foram produzidas, isso levou a banda à outro nível !!!

01- The Zealots of the Bloody Circle
Uma Intro assustadora, macabra e que é a base para o começo deste álbum incrível !!!

02- The Forbidden City of Kun-Laa
Ótimo riff do começo, porra, incrível, o vocal do Zero está impecável nesta música, 
está diferentes das outras canções da banda, canção bem produzida !!!

03- I Will Always Hate You Frankenstein
Quando acaba "The Forbidden City of Kun-Laa" e começa o riff desta 3ª canção, me arrepio,
não sei dizer o quanto magnifica é essa música, a letra entra diretamente em seu cérebro provocando
várias reações emocionais. Porra, os riffs, os acordes, o baixo, a bateria, vocal, tudo perfeito, posso dizer
que essa é minha música favorita do álbum, A Melhor do Álbum na minha opinião !

04- By Your Command
A canção mais longa do álbum "4:00" 4 minutos de pura aula de Shock Rock e Horror Punk,
ótima combinação da instrumental com o vocal, se encaixam perfeitamente. Música incrível !

05- 666 Rock n' Roll
Quando o assunto é música, a banda sabe o que fazer, é por isso que adoro as músicas de DieMonsterDie,
basta você ouvir uma vez e pronto, da vontade de apertar o botão de repetição !
A música é sensacional, ótimo solo de guitarra ! E o arrepio que você sente ao chegar nos 02:40 da música.
666 DieMonsterDie Rock n' Roll !!!

06- Pearls For Daddy
Essa música é uma das melhores! ela já começa com aquele tom assustador e o vocal dando continuidade aos versos sem pausar, ótima mixagem, ficou extremamente rápida e viciante, muito boa mesmo ! 
O que realmente eu gostei, foi o jeito de como a letra é cantada, muito boa.

07- October 21st, 1976
 A canção Título do Álbum, realmente os riffs de todas músicas estão viciantes e incríveis, amei o álbum, 
October 21st, 1976 tem uma forte sonoridade, com partes lentas, rápidas, agressivas, e épicas, 
como a  partir dos 02:00 da música.
Resumindo: RELLY FUCKING COOL !!!

08- Devil's Trellis
 A canção começa de uma forma demoníaca e super pesada! 
Isso leva nós (admiradores da música Horror) à loucura
Zero deu um toque assustador na música com sua voz magnifica, ficou incrível.

09- Don't Panic This is Only a Test
haha adorei essa música, é divertida e animada, ótima !!!

10- 1-800 Moon Patrol
 Realmente essa música me faz lembrar dos albuns do Misfits (Graves) adorei o jeito que é tocada, cantada
e o refrão é incrivel, com direito à esses woooowooo que ficam incriveis em qualquer música do genêro.

11- The Trouble with the Neighbors Is...
A banda trouxe a magia do Psychobilly para este álbum Magnifico, o tradicional baixo usado nas bandas de Psychobilly, destacou o som da banda, ficou louco demais !
Realmente a música ficou muito diferente do que de costume da banda, ficou divertida e experimental !

12- Graveyard Shock N' Roll
12- Cara, que som incrível, é uma das melhores do álbum, backing vocal épico,
a música já é sensacional, mas quando chega aos 01:35, ela fica melhor ainda !!!
É por isso que vejo a emoção na atitude desse garotinho:



13 - Just One More Fucking Time
A ultima música do álbum, a música é assassina, assustadora
essa música foi produzida brutalmente, adorei, ficou como algumas música de HardCore, a banda fechou o álbum com classe, nos mostrou tudo que a banda tem de verdade, 
são 13 anos na estrada e um ótimo trabalho foi feito !!!

DieMonsterDie is evolving with every album, and this could not be otherwise.
The album begins with an introduction worthy of a good horror film that soon extends
The song "The Forbidden City of Kun-Laa" that shows the essence of the classic horror punk
with the classics back vocals. The music also drew my attention most was the
"I Will Always Hate You Frankenstein" with striking riffs and a vocal impeccable say
be the best song of the album in my opinion. The album features instrumental abusing of Rock n roll
riffs and melodies, a clear and intense influence of Horror is seen in each music album.
Surely DieMonsterDie is among the best bands in the genre "Horror Rock" and each job
I find myself more with this amazing band, I still hope to get the chance to see a live show.

What about the new DieMonsterDie album? If you do not say: is really excellent!
The Intro of the album shows a great weight on guitars and essence of the band
  Now that innovates on the arrangements of guitars and drums.
   The first song "The Forbidden City of Kun-Laa" shows what they are doing
What is a good music and good manners! the vocals also do not have to complain,
are in sync and great melodies.
  The second song "I Will Always Hate You Frankenstein" who can say which is the best in
the album, is also great, the guitar has a nice highlight. Truly an album of pure Rock 'N' Roll Horror Punk and quality, might well come to Brazil to tour their new album.

An Intro scary, macabre and that is the basis for the beginning of this amazing album!!

02- The Forbidden City of Kun-Laa
Great riff from beginning, fuck, amazing, Zero's vocals are flawless in this song,
is different from the other band's songs, well produced song!!

03- I Will Always Hate You Frankenstein
When does "The Forbidden City of Kun-Laa" and get the 3rd song of this album, I shiver,
I can not say how much this song is magnificent, the letter goes directly into your brain causing
various emotional reactions. Riffs, chords, bass, drums, vocals, everything perfect, I can say
this is my favorite song on the album, The Best song in my opinion!

04- By Your Command
The longest song on the album "4:00" 4 minutes of pure class Shock Rock and Horror Punk
great combination of instrumental with vocal, perfect. Awesome song!

05- 666 Rock n' Roll
When it comes to music, the band knows what to do, that's why I love the songs of DieMonsterDie,
you just listen once and done, the will to push the replay button!
The music is awesome, great guitar solo! And the chill you feel when arriving at 02:40 the music.
666 DieMonsterDie Rock n' Roll!!

06- Pearls For Daddy
This song is one of the best! starts with that creepy tone and vocal continuing the verses without pausing, great mix, was extremely fast and addictive, very good indeed!
What I really liked was the way how the lyrics are sung, very good.

07- October 21st, 1976
Song Title of the album. really riffs of all songs are addictive and amazing, loved the album,
October 21st, 1976 has a strong sound, with slow parts, fast, aggressive, and epic,
such as from 02:00 music.
In short: RELLY FUCKING COOL!!

08- Devil's Trellis
The song begins in a demonic and super heavy!
This leads us (Horror music admirers) crazy
Zero gave a touch scary music with his magnificent voice, was amazing.

09- Don't Panic This is Only a Test
haha loved this song, it is fun and lively, great!!

10- 1-800 Moon Patrol
Actually this song reminds me of the Misfits albums (Graves) loved the way it is played, sung
and the chorus is incredible, with the right to woooowooo that these are incredible in any music genre.

11- The Trouble with the Neighbors Is...
The band brought the magic of Psychobilly for this magnific album, the bass used in the traditional Psychobilly bands highlighted the band's sound, it was too crazy!
Actually the music was very different than the usual band was fun and experimental!

12- Graveyard Shock N' Roll
Dude, this sound is amazing, it's one of the best on the album, backing vocals, epic
the song is already amazing, but when it comes to 1:35, it gets even better!!
That's why I see the emotion in the attitude of this boy:



13 - Just One More Fucking Time
The last song on the album, the music is killer, scary
this song was produced brutally, loved, was how some music HardCore, the band closed the album with class, showed us all that the band has really,
are 13 years on the road and a great job was done !!

Album Review: Dr. Geek and the Freakshow (Horror Punk - Germany)

Here I bring to you a review of an album that I really liked and I think everyone should listen to!


The Album "GHOUL SHOCK" of the German band "Dr. Geek and the Freakshow".

Dr. Geek - Vocal/Guitarra
Zombiehl - Baixo/Backing Vocal
Frankensteiner - Bateria

Additional Members (album):
Vocals - Nic (Spielbann), Violin - Dela (Wanderreigen) 
Flute and Bagpipes - Stefanie (Wanderreigen)

Band bio:
Dr.Geek and Zombiehl met back in 2008. After many failed experiments they finally succeeded in bringing Frankensteiner to life in 2009. The first EP “Miss Graveyard 1878” was recorded in December 2009 in SU2 Studios with help of (Necro-)Phil Hillen. It has been released march 27th 2010.
The second recording “The Wolfman…and other Stories from the Lab” has again been recorded under the supervision of (Nekro-)Phil Hillen and was released February 19th 2011.

On July 7th, the band’s first video “Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde” was released. On August 16th 2012, the band signed with Klabautermann Records. With them they release their next album “Ghoul Shock” in 2013.

So let's start...

The Intro is magnificent and macabre, at the same time very interesting!!
The 2nd song is "Run Away". With his first chords you already realize that the Horror Punk is pure and great of this band, great vocals, and this double pedal that makes you listen to the song several times, very good!

The 3rd song is called "Jerusha". While listening you discovers the power of the band riffs and chords that come into your brain, vocal scarier, I loved this song, addicting!

The 4th song is called "Beetlejuice", well, the name says where it comes from, if you do not know, try searching. Great chorus, really addictive, great "Wooooooowwwwooo" amazing!!

5th song, "Jack in the Box", great relaxing music, a break from all this Horror Punk for the more melodic riffs and chords, was actually very good.

"Ghoul Shock" is the 6th song and also the album title, now turn to the heavy chords and fast, always amazing vocals, and loved the drums, fast and aggressive, big keyboard / organ in the background, actually combined with the song, too.

"Six Feet Down Under" the 7th song of this amazing album, the music has an individual intro that at the beginning you feel the full weight of the song, I love these chords hideous and frightening,
soil addictive, great! Actually, so far the whole album is great!

8th song "Angel From Hell", that I was amazed, gave me a shiver down my spine to hear the riff from the introduction, this is a song to dance with your girl and listen to those happy days, here is the music I liked the most !

"Love After Death" 9th song of the album so far enjoyed the album, the great energy of punk rock
is present throughout the album ... This song has a great combination with the vocals and instruments, loved the riffs and the chorus ghastly, amazing!

10th song "White To Red" loved the melody of the song, and the vocal was perfect, so do not criticize me (haha), but it was amazing and reminded me of the music of Bad Religion.

"Horror Movie Double Feature", 11th song of the Album. The song talks about Horror movies, as before, the vocals and music are perfectly matched, making the music so good, love those riffs and these pieces of music with "palm mute" very good.

"Behind The Wall" 12th Music, that the vocals are so flawless, fuck, the chorus is very good. ahhh these riffs ... Great music, you can hear it and start dancing!!

13th, last song "Under An Irish Attic" perfect, girls will love this song, so relaxing.
The Participation of this Girl in this song so calm and romantic, very good. And this song closes this album
sensational, spectacular of this German band, I hope you enjoyed the review, and listen to the band, you will like it very much !

Recommend !!!

Resenha de CD: Esquife Horror Punk - 2013

Como todos já sabem, a banda Esquife, lançou seu 1º álbum de estúdio neste ano de 2013 e eu fui um dos primeiros a adquirir o álbum, portanto fiz uma resenha completa, faixa por faixa do álbum, porque está tão bom e bem produzido, já está entre os melhores álbuns de Horror de 2013...

Confira:


A Noiva de Branco - Faixa 1
A intro "Sirene Feliz" já começa deixando o álbum atormentador, a primeira vez que ouvi fiquei hipnotizado .. Assim que começa "Noiva de Branco" ao ouvir você percebe o que está por vir ao decorrer do álbum, a música é perfeitamente trabalhada, a letra como alguns já sabem, é sobre uma lenda que permanece viva até hoje no Rio Grande Do Sul, fala sobre uma mulher de branco que andava sozinha pela margem da Lagoa Dos Barros... Fiquei impressionado com está canção.

Velha Mansão - Faixa 2
É uma música que alguns já conhecem e outros não; a banda já havia disponibilizado virtualmente e lançaram um video-clipe com essa faixa.
A instrumental é incrivel, vocal perfeito, a música ficou divertida, 
para quem aprecia o Horror, esta música é ótima.

Árvore Amaldiçoada - Faixa 3
Assim que ouvi pela primeira vez, já fiquei tonto com esse Riff viciante da introdução, o som ficou sombrio e dançante, ótima combinação do Vocal com os instrumentos. 
A letra falando sobre essa tal árvore, ficou incrível.

Fantasma - Faixa 4
Essa música a banda também havia disponibilizado ha algum tempo na internet.
Essa é uma das minhas favoritas (a letra combina comigo), só digo uma coisa, escute esse som tomando uma boa dose de cachaça, comece a sentir presenças ao seu redor. 
"Yep, Yep, Yep, O fantasma que assombra quem bebe..."

Gritador - Faixa 5
Gritador é uma lenda do Rio Grande do Sul, que até hoje assusta os moradores e ainda tem gente que escuta os Horríveis gritos desta alma atormentada...
Essa foi a 1ª música da banda que eu ouvi, lá em 2011.
Essa é a que eu mais considero Sombria, Medonha e Horripilante,
 tem gente que se arrepia ouvindo essa música.

Encontro - Faixa 6
Escutando o álbum, derrepentemente acaba "Gritador", quando começa "Encontro", fiquei totalmente hipnotizado  como se lendo a letra e ouvindo a música eu estivesse dentro de um sonho muito realista.
Perfeita, uma das minha favoritas, essa eu ouvi e repeti algumas dezenas de vezes, pra você que adora algo Sobrenatural vai gostar muito.

Espíritos - Faixa 7
Música totalmente viciante, já virou clássico hahaha, muito boa mesmo
perfeitamente bolada, você escuta uma vez e não para mais !
"Quem nunca viveu isso, não sabe como é
Dizem que não se escolhe, escolhido se é"

Alma Penada - Faixa 8
Alma Penada, esse som ficou lindão, tipo como se fosse "Saturday Night"
A letra é muito forte, gostei muito, essa é dedicada aos casais Horror Punk !

Corpo Seco - Faixa 9
Pra você que gosta de Zumbis, essa é a faixa certa !
Esse som é perfeito pra agitar em um show da Esquife, letra perfeita !
"...Depois que ele morreu
não foi aceito pelo além..."

Procissão - Faixa 10
Essa música havia sido lançada como Single no Halloween de 2012, 
foi lançada oficialmente pelo UHP.
Para mim e para muitos, essa com certeza é uma das melhores músicas da banda,

João Galafoice, foto tolo ou fogo corredor... é uma lenda que muitos afirmam ver bolas de fogo flutuando no ar, tipo como se fosse um OVNI sobrevoando as terras brasileiras...
Uma grande música, uma das primeiras que ouvi da banda, a letra é cantada de um modo diferente de se escutar, instrumentos se encaixam perfeitamente, tudo é perfeito nessa música !

Tarde Tenebrosa - Faixa 12
Pessoal, essa eu fiquei tipo: O_O (espantado) a música é perfeita, rápida do jeito que eu gosto, 
aquele riff que deixa com vontade de agitar geral.
Essa foi uma das melhores do álbum.
"...Ouvindo o canto triste dos mortos, até mesmo lúcifer entristeceu
para dar voz aos que já partiram, a sinfonia da morte ele regeu..." 

Esquife - Faixa 13
Como todos já sabem "Esquife" é um sinônimo para "Caixão"
A música fala sobre o próprio nome da banda 
 e para onde iremos e descansaremos eternamente após a morte...
A letra é muito foda, a instrumental muito boa também, esta é a ultima faixa do CD. SERÁ... ?
"Esquife, a morte, o fim..."

Entrei dentro de um filme de terror ouvindo este álbum, gostei muito, espero que todos que leram essa resenha, corram e comprem o CD, pois está Du Caralho !!!
